The weather here is beautiful and I am struggling to stay focused on my monumentous to do list. I want to order a bottle of violette syrup, make lemonade, and lull about in the yard.

I am spending my summer studying at the Yale Writer’s Workshop (for a second time), hopefully finishing my novel, tutoring international students, and ferrying a kid to his Shakespeare in the Park gig. Oh, and walking my dogs.
